Massive Plantation Day was celebrated in Cpt No. 93 - 94 of Changa Manga Irrigated Plantation. The event was jointly inaugurated by Conservator of Forests Lahore Muhammad Nawaz Sandheela and Deputy Commissioner Kasur Muhammad Arshad Bhatti. Ch Imran Sattar DFO Changa Manga, Shahid Tabassum DFO Lahore, Ch. Jaffar Gujjar ADCG Kasur, Talat Abbas SDFO Changa Manga, All ACs of District Kasur and all District Heads of Line Department graced the occasion. More than 15000 persons including students, officers, officials, civil society activists, Lawyers, Doctors, Engineers participated in Collective Tree Plantation Drive.
100000 Saplings were planted in one minute. Publicity and Extension Division, Lahore also established Publicity & Awareness Stall and displayed Banners & Streamers to make the event colorful.
