PROTECTION, CONSERVATION AND SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT OF WETLAND AT TAUNSA BARRAGE DISTRICT MUZAFFARGARH – COMPLETION OF BALANCE CIVIL WORKS

The last revised version of PC-I Scheme “Protection, Conservation and sustainable development of Wetland at Taunsa Barrage District Muzaffargarh (Pilot Project)” was approved by DDSC on 17.8.2015 at a total cost of Rs.77.394m with its gestation period starting from 01.7.2014 to 30.6.2016.  During the financial year 2015-16, Rs.11.877m were allocated and released for execution of civil works against the PC-I provision of Rs.31.329m of said project.  Hence, there was a short funding of Rs.9.452m.  The Buildings Department utilized full funds but all civil works of the project could not be completed due to short funding.  Hence, the project has been included in the proposed ADP 2021-22 to complete the left over civil works due to short funding.
